Today we went to the Broad Ripple Cultural District near Downtown Indianapolis. There were many restaurants, bars, and a few small shops set within a historic neighborhood. Many of the businesses are old homes that have been converted to new establishments. Nonda, Becky, Grandaddy, Mitchell and I ate lunch at Bazbeaux (http://www.bazbeaux.com/). There are three locations around the area and it is dubbed the best pizza in Indy. We did not take any pictures today.
Tonight as we were getting ready for bed Mitchell said what sounded to me like the sweetest thing..."Fer Fer, you know, I've really had a good time here in Indiana. I don't want to leave,....but it's time to go home." It was in the sweetest, most innocent voice! It turned into one of those bonding times like we used to have more often. It was just what I needed! I had been missing those moments. He is so precious! I love him! What a perfect ending to our days here!
Tomorrow we hit the road back to Texas...
