Hehe! As I was laying by the pool this afternoon, I got a fun surprise...an invite to the FC Dallas game against the LA Galaxy....TONIGHT! It was my first MLS event! The parking at Pizza Hut Park is slightly less stressful for a sporting event than a concert. Although, I did see some interesting arrangements. We avoided parking in Oklahoma this trip and only broke the rules a little bit. However, in true style--once you're in, fun awaits. It was exciting when Dallas scored--drums, music, horns, streamers, cheering, and fireworks!
The final score was 4-0 Dallas. Fortunately, we had seats on the west side of the park, so the heat was not unbearable. It was also neat to see David Beckham up close.
Of course, there's nothing like the food/drinks at a stadium! The game was too short...in less than two hours we were in and out.
