surprise adventure

Hehe! I love to do things off my beaten path. It can be something rather small and uneventful or noteworthy and exciting. Either way, I find it refreshing. Tonight it started with one of the notorious, spontaneous phone calls. Then I got to go to a restaurant downtown and to a concert at Gilley's. The "Big City Girl" had to come out in me a little bit, since I met an old friend down there and had to do the driving by myself. It was worth it though. The best part of the night was "El Cerrito Place". I got to dance! :) Then as would be the case with this concert going friend...we had a moment with the performer. Charlie Robison came off the stage, onto the dance floor, and walked right past us. About that time he dropped his guitar pick. Guess who had one in their pocket to share with him? LOL! Only one of my friends! Hehe! I love it!

(Shhh! Don't tell! These two images were not approved for posting. In fact, I may have been instructed to delete them.)
This is Charlie Robison. One is when he was taking a shot at the bar with some fans during the show.
