A few hours ago a severe thunderstorm blew across the metroplex. I had about 30 minutes warning before it hit this area, but by then it had already threatened a tornado in Flower Mound, stirred strong winds, and reports of damage in its shadow. At about this point, the tornado sirens sounded, so I was bound for the bathtub with my normal supplies. Parts of Lewisville are in the dark and there is damage to apartments on the other side of town.
After it was more than clear, I resurfaced from the bathroom and opened the blinds to watch the wind blow. It didn't take long before I witnessed some amazing streaks of lightening. I decided to try out one of my new toys and capture some images of the night sky from the stair landing. With some creative liberties taken, this is what I got...
