grief
Grief is like haunting ghosts. It seems to lurk and sneak upon you from hidden places. The onset of reminiscences and angst can trickle in like a slow rain or with thunderous attacks, mysteriously creating unsuspected reactions, emotions, and behaviors. Triggers include simple pieces of mail, a story, a city, a date, new experiences, locations, random memories, change, jewelry, and any other moment in time. Grief is hard. Grief is draining.
